Pathetic excuse of a hospital, wouldn’t train there if they paid me locum throughout training. Absolute worst experience as a Trainee, unsure why this place still has trainees. High acuity, busy, dept with old systems, no hope for change, rude nurses. Wouldn’t wish this hospital on my enemy. Poor staffing, nearly everyone’s locum doctors, nurses.

Dangerous staffing levels. Full of locum consultants and registrars. SHO rota is absolutely awful. Staff completely unsupportive. Would not work there again for ÂŁ1000 per hour.
Chaotic and always understaffed (nursing and medical) but friendly staff and you can learn a lot. Very tiring though and would probably be very stressful as a SPR.
