Paid parking, multi-storey and also outside carparks. Very difficult to get a permit unless you live very far away or are a foundation doctor. An on call permit and night shift permit are easy to get.

Requests for bloods, referrals and scans are mostly electronic, but CT, MRI and US are paper.

Facilities & Doctors Mess
Make a changeThe mess is ok, it has a few computers, on call rooms to sleep, kitchen, sky tv and nice couches. A lot of doctors use it.
The library is excellent, very big, modern and clean with a huge selection of books.
Hospital accommodation is on site.
Victoria Gardens, Whitegate Drive or further out like Poulton, St Annes, Lythem etc. Nothing nearby the hospital other than a park
