My favourite job of all year. Well supported, friendly consultants, good nurses, great social team. The head of AMU - Dr Tharakan is an absolute legend. Miss it so much!
Did an F2 job here. Big, friendly team with a lot of support. Some Consultants have strange/unfriendly personalities but they rotate often. I really enjoyed this job and it massively increased my confidence in dealing with medical patients. - Not too busy Acute Medical Unit. Very nice group of consultants. Busy and at times draining job but reportedly not as bad as acute medicine in other London hospitals. Somewhat fixed leave as only allowed to take leave on 'float' days. Exception reporting was not proactively encouraged even though it was not uncommon to stay late.
