Minimal teaching opportunities unfortunately. Whilst the registrars are happy to engage you, and are generally friendly, have to really work to get the teaching on things. Not a good department to work for, incredibly high work load with not enough juniors. It’s a primary PCI centre with CCU, Lewes ward and Albion ward so around 60-70 patients on a given day but very rapid turnover.
