Nice modern buildings and fun team to work with. I was general med all year.
Personally enjoy the online notes system most of the time.
Overall enjoyed the job but it isn't foe the faint heartes and you definitely need to be able to stand up for yourself l.
Needs to rethink how trainees are treated in the trust having been taken to employment tribunals multiple times over the last few years by F1s for monitoring and pay disputes. They will religiously try to keep your banding below its true value and attempt to guilt you into underpayment e.g. £10/hr for a night shift.
HR fairly pleasant but highly disorganised which is probably the biggest complaint across all medical staff in the hospital.
Tough ooh rota, particularly weekends feel hugely short staffed and stressful. Nights are helped by the amazing hospital and night team.
Personally haven't worked in surgery much but it has a terrible reputation for bullying, bad hours and miserable foundation doctors.

Busy hospital with large cohort of colleagues. Senior medical staff generally supportive and approachable. Tough out of hours rota but good opportunities for learning. Excellent hospital at night team!
