Pros: No nights. On calls only last 10 hours each day. Small department Cons: unsupported when on call. As an sho you are expected to perform small operations in the minor ops room which are not beneficial to your training, you lack equipment to do most of them and you need to hunt for equipment on a daily basis to perform these procedures. No supervision majority of the time. Some of the consultants are toxic and unhelpful. Would not recommend as a department to someone with an interest in plastic surgery or looking to achieve competencies for ST3
